“I have learned so much in the last 2 months!!! Going into this challenge, my goals were to build muscle without gaining fat or increasing my waist size. I also hoped to increase the size of my legs a bit and get stronger all around. In 8 weeks, I achieved those goals by gaining 1.6 pounds of muscle but losing 4.8 pounds of fat and lowering my body fat percentage by 3.9 percent!!!


Going into this challenge I was a little scared to eat more while doing less cardio, but my results got me over that fear. Elina was there every step of the way adjusting my macros weekly and suggesting tweaks to my workout plans to help me get closer to my goals. I already felt like my relationship with food had been healed in the previous summer shred challenge, but now I can say that for certain because I got over the fear of eating more and realized that an increase in macros was only helping my metabolism, giving me more energy for lifting heavier in the gym, and fueling my muscles more post-workout.

I did most of my workouts at Fitnello, and the workouts there are what helped me see a change in strength because I am pushed to my best at the gym by the trainers. Lastly, I have to say the biggest takeaway for me from this challenge was newfound confidence not only from some changes in my appearance- but more so from the strength that I have gained and the feeling of accomplishing goals.
