Ingredients

  • 30 grams of quick oats

  • 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder (I prefer Level-1 Protein)

  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds or flax seeds

  • 15 grams of almond butter

  • 70 grams of frozen or fresh berries

Steps

  1. Microwave the oats with water for 1 minute (oats to water ratio is crucial to ensure a creamy consistency!). I like to add a pinch of Himalayan salt to draw out the flavor of the oats.

  2. Stir the oats to determine if additional time in the microwave is needed.

  3. Stir in the chia seeds and wait for a minute until they cool off.

  4. ONLY once the oatmeal has had adequate time to cool, add your protein powder.

  5. If the oats are still too watery or cold, pop them back in the microwave for an additional 15 seconds.

  6. Garnish with your favorite toppings like nut butter and berries.
