Ingredients

  • 20 grams of your favorite protein powder (I prefer 1st PHORM, Level-1 Protein Powder Cinnamon Cookie Batter or Ice Cream Sadwich)

  • 15 grams almond flour

  • 7 grams coconut flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

  • pinch of salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon (or however much you'd like)

  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2-3 tablespoons almond milk

Steps

  1. Heat waffle maker.

  2. Stir all ingredients in a small bowl until the batter is free from most clumps. Add as much almond milk to get the waffle batter to the desired consistency. The batter should be pourable, but not super thin, so start with 2 tbsp at a time. Make sure there is enough batter to spread on all four parts of the waffle maker.

  3. Once the waffle maker is heated, generously spray the top and the bottom of the maker with non-stick cooking spray.

  4. Pour the batter equally in each part and cook it to your waffle maker's instructions (about 3-4 minutes, depending on your waffle maker's settings).

  5. After your waffle is done cooking, remove it from the waffle maker and top with your choice of toppings.
